Our professional and experienced rehabilitation team is 100% behind you. We understand that addiction thrives in isolation, but by working together in a safe, nurturing family environment like Liberty Home, you can overcome your habit in our secondary care facility.
An individual’s ideas, feelings, actions, and general well-being can all be impacted by a variety of problems known as mental health disorders, commonly referred to as psychiatric disorders or mental illnesses. Here at Liberty Home, we provide a safe space for those struggling with mental health conditions through transitional living programmes. Discover the power of a supportive community in our halfway house, rewrite your story, and begin your recovery journey.
Addiction too often remains taboo. Let’s start by saying this: You are not weak or lacking willpower. You are not useless or feeble. Addiction is an illness, a symptom of underlying and often complex issues. Substance abuse affects millions of people worldwide, but addiction can go far beyond physical dependence. Behavioural addictions such as gambling and sex can also destroy lives and relationships. We provide support and treatment for a multitude of addictions; reach out to us for more information on how we can help.
Sober living houses provide a safe place to recover from drugs or alcohol after a primary treatment programme. Often referred to as a sober home or recovery house, these institutions build the bridge between residential treatment centres and everyday living. They provide a clean and sober living environment within a group of others in addiction recovery.
Sober living homes and halfway houses are designed to keep people in recovery, avoid relapse, and ultimately stay sober. They provide more than just a sober environment; they offer community support, therapy, and the chance to learn new life skills to take into the world—it’s a recovery community!
Sober living house residents are provided with a place to live away from triggers and temptations that once fused their drug and alcohol addiction. Substance use and mental health don’t typically heal after a month’s stay in an inpatient treatment facility; it requires hard work and dedication long after. Liberty Home offers a recovery home to help achieve long-lasting sobriety.
We offer two treatment options at our sober house: Reintegration Care and the Mindfulness Programme. The eligibility criteria for these programmes are simple: the patient must have completed a primary care programme at a rehab centre and test negative for narcotics and alcohol. Here’s what to expect from our programmes at our sober living facilities.
Reintegration Care is an approved secondary care programme that helps sober individuals learn how to cope in the outside world independently. It teaches them the necessary coping mechanisms in a calm and safe environment. This programme must be completed prior to moving into our Mindfulness Programme.
The program can last anywhere from a month to a year. During this time, our patients will learn to get jobs or volunteer, attend support groups, and receive one-to-one counselling sessions – this is all part of learning the new skills to live a sober life. Patients are provided meals and are allowed to leave the facility during the day; lockdown hours are between 22:00 and 07:00.
Once you feel that you have attained the necessary skills to be independent, you are more than welcome to leave the programme and transition to the Sober Living/Mindfulness programme.
The Mindfulness Programme is developed to maintain sober living in a home environment. With this, patients can maintain sober habits learned through the Reintegration Programme to continue their path to a successful recovery.
This experience allows the sober living residents to indulge in further independent responsibilities such as cooking for themselves and having therapeutic duties. They also have access to relapse prevention groups and 12-step meetings. The sense of community is key in these living spaces, living side by side with others in similar situations fosters camaraderie and support to overcome mental health issues and substance use disorders.
Our sober home provides a chance to successfully recover from alcohol and drug addiction. Here are some of the most common substances we have helped with at our facility in Belgium.
Our Belgian facility is strictly a sober living and halfway house; it is not a rehab facility. However, for those who require inpatient rehab for primary treatment, our residential treatment centre in Cape Town, South Africa, offers an affordable place to begin your recovery journey.
Regardless of your situation, Liberty Home are here to help. Our Clinic in South Africa offers a lifeline to those in search of drug or alcohol rehab. Our goal is to provide everyone struggling with addiction the chance to discover a life without dependence at an affordable price. Rehab in Europe can be expensive and almost unattainable for most people, that’s why we offer a solution to all walks of life, regardless of their economic background.
Our team and founders are in recovery themselves and have walked the very same path you may be experiencing. Liberty Home is all about setting people free from the chains of addiction and contributing to a wider cause, creating a world where everyone can achieve sobriety.
